I’ve been experimenting with Seedance 2.5 lately, and I quickly ran into one problem: generating everything in 4K can eat through credits pretty fast when I’m still testing ideas.
So I started using a simple workflow instead:
Step 1: Generate in 720p
When I’m testing prompts, scenes, or different ideas, I usually export in 720p first. It’s faster, costs fewer credits, and I don’t feel like I’m wasting credits on a video that I might end up scrapping anyway.
Step 2: Enhance the video with VikPea
Once I’m happy with the result, I use HitPaw VikPea AI Video Enhancer to upscale the 720p video to 1080p or 4K. The enhanced version looks much better for the final export, and I don’t have to regenerate the whole video in 4K.
Step 3: Generate + enhance in one place
I also noticed that VikPea now supports Seedance 2.5 directly. So I can generate my AI video with Seedance 2.5 and enhance it with VikPea without jumping between different platforms.
For me, this is a much more practical workflow: test ideas at lower resolution first, then enhance the ones I actually want to keep. Especially useful when the final video is going to YouTube, TikTok, ads, or a client project.
