Anyone else obsessed with the new MJ biopic trailer and now making AI covers?
So… has anyone else fallen down the rabbit hole after watching the new Michael (Michael Jackson biopic) trailer? 
I swear, the moment the teaser dropped, my YouTube recommendations turned into a full MJ marathon — Thriller, Billie Jean, Beat It, Man in the Mirror… the whole playlist summoned itself.
And then something funny happened.
I started messing around with HitPaw VoicePea’s AI Cover feature, and honestly?
It’s kinda wild how close the MJ model sounds. Not “perfect,” of course — no AI can be MJ — but the vibe? The phrasing? Even the breathiness? Shockingly good.
I tried making a small MJ-style cover from an old recording of mine, and the result actually gave me goosebumps. (Also mild embarrassment, but we don’t talk about that. 
)
Now I’m curious:
Has anyone here used VoicePea to recreate classic MJ tracks?
Does it work better for some songs than others?
And does anyone have tips for getting that smooth MJ-style vibrato? Mine still sounds like a confused pigeon lol.
Also, side note — with the biopic dropping in 2026, I feel like AI covers are about to blow up again. People are already remixing MJ moments on TikTok, so VoicePea might end up being the go-to tool for fans wanting to “perform” the classics themselves.
