I don’t know if anyone else grew up like this, but I actually spent way more time with my grandparents than my parents growing up.
So when Father’s Day comes around, I naturally think about my grandpa too ![]()
This year, I started putting together a small gift list for him and realized the best gifts really depend on what kind of grandpa you have.
For sentimental grandpas:
A photo book, a framed family picture, or even restoring old family photos feels really meaningful.
For practical grandpas:
Something useful and comfortable — a massage pillow, lumbar support cushion, or a digital photo frame loaded with family pictures.
For quiet/literary grandpas:
A poetry collection, classic books, tea accessories, or something he can enjoy during quiet afternoons.
For hobby-based grandpas:
Gardening tools, fishing accessories, chess/checkers sets, or gifts related to what they already enjoy.
For memory-making:
Honestly, sometimes spending time together matters more than buying something. A family dinner, short trip, or simply taking them somewhere they’ve always wanted to go feels really special.

One thing I ended up loving personally was restoring some old family photos using HitPaw FotorPea. Some of our old pictures were faded and blurry, and seeing them clear again felt surprisingly emotional. I’m even thinking about printing them into a small album.
If you were gifting your grandpa this Father’s Day, what would you choose? ![]()
