First, my little tip: always think about the character’s personality first!
When I draw a shy girl, I have her cross her arms, look down, and add a tiny blush
For a cheerful character, I try dynamic jumping poses with swinging arms and sparkly eyes
Expressions and proportions matter too! Enlarging eyes and shrinking hands/feet really amps up the cuteness, but keep the style consistent to avoid looking off
