Back-to-school season always makes me realize how many random tools I end up using for school. So I thought I’d share a few that have actually been useful for me lately.
HitPaw VikPea is probably my favorite one for video stuff. I’ve had some old class project videos and phone recordings sitting around that looked pretty rough, so I used VikPea to upscale them, reduce noise, and clean up the details. It’s especially handy when you need to reuse an older video instead of recording everything again.
For writing, I’ve been using Grammarly mostly as a final check for essays and emails. I still do the writing myself, but it’s nice for catching awkward sentences and grammar mistakes.
Canva is another one I keep coming back to for presentations and posters. It saves me a lot of time when I need something that looks decent without spending forever designing it.
And if I’m stuck researching something, ChatGPT is usually my first stop for brainstorming or breaking down a topic I don’t understand.
