Trying to Fix My Halloween Video from Last Year – HitPaw VikPea Did Pretty Well, But I’m Curious About More Advanced Techniques

Hey everyone! So, last Halloween I shot this fun family video, but after watching it back, I realized just how blurry and grainy it looked. I tried a few video restoration tools to clean it up, and while some were okay, HitPaw VikPea really stood out to me.

I used their AI-powered tool, and wow, it really helped to improve the resolution. It’s got this awesome AI model that gets rid of motion artifacts and sharpens the details, so my video doesn’t look like it’s straight out of a horror movie anymore (except for the costumes, of course :joy:).

It even has specific models for different types of footage, like one for faces and another for anime-style animation. Super convenient if you’re working with a variety of content.

But here’s the thing – I’m still curious if there’s a way to make the video even better. I’ve already increased the resolution up to 8K with VikPea, but are there any more advanced settings or tips I might have missed to really give it that “brand new” feel? Have you guys used it for anything else, like old clips or even low-light footage?

Would love to hear if anyone has found a hidden gem feature or a more advanced technique to try!

P.S. If you haven’t checked out HitPaw VikPea, it’s pretty straightforward and easy to use – and I gotta say, it’s been a game-changer for my video repair needs.
